Hitman 3 Ambrose Island Map

Hitman 3 is getting a new tropical island map this month

The frankly addictive and incredibly successful Hitman 3 is getting a new tropical island map this month, developers IO Interactive have announced. Ambrose Island is scheduled for a July 26th launch, alongside the latest patch, 3.120, but that’s not the only thing that’s going on in the world of Hitman 3 this month.

The new Hitman 3 map, Ambrose Island, a hidden cove in Asia, is said to be home to a pirate syndicate and can be found in the Andaman Sea – which is just off the coast of Burma, near Thailand in the northeast Indian Ocean. Boasting “hidden secrets,” new targets, challenges and unlockable rewards, Agent 47 will have to head to Asia to help an old friend rectify their mistake… whatever that means! Check out the new trailer to get an idea of what you can expect.

The fun doesn’t stop there though! Oh no! IO Interactive also laid out the rest of their plans for this month with their July 2022 road map.

On July 7th, Bangkok’s Himmapan Hotel is next on Hitman 3’s free location rotation, giving free access to Hitman 3 and Free Starter Pack owners for 10 days. Then, on July 8th, everybody’s favourite Revolutionary, Vicente Murillo is back as your Elusive Target, patrolling around Santa Fortuna for 10 days only.

On July 14th IO Interactive are rolling out a new Elusive Target Arcades, giving players who complete any of the batches the chance to unlock The Iridescent Katana – which looks cool as anything! July 15th’s Elusive Target, known as The Food Critic, will appear in Bangkok. Don’t miss your chance to take down Wen Ts’ai!

And just before the new Hitman 3 map, Ambrose Island, drops alongside patch 3.120, IO Interactive will be rolling out some pirate themed community Contracts to get you in the mood.

Put this one in the diary, folks! July 26th! Ambrose Island. Time to get that piano wire warm once again!
