NBA 2K23 MyTEAM fans desperate to see Rasheed Wallace or Dark Matter Carmelo Anthony added following Season 7 update
NBA 2K23 Season 7 officially launched today, baring a deep variety of new content for a handful of its modes. This includes NBA 2K23 MyTEAM, which has been a hit since the game launched and has only improved its player universe with each new season.
That being said, NBA 2K23 MyTEAM hasn’t made all the right steps along the way since last September. This has been exemplified firsthand by the current player collection in MyTEAM, with some key fan-favorites still missing despite Season 7’s arrival. Prior to the new season launching today, Reddit held a small a forum for the MyTEAM community to see which players they would like to see most.
At the top of the comments section with the most upvotes (currently 19), is that of a Rasheed Wallace image posted by a user who goes by dirtyj61. And unsurprisingly, this user was not the only one who was asking for a Wallace card. At this time, NBA 2K23 MyTEAM has yet to drop a Rasheed Wallace card of any kind. So in short, MyTEAM fans have no way to play with him, which has frustrated many.
Another user by the name of tempknowledge commented with a request for a Dark Matter Knicks Carmelo Anthony card, which received 14 upvotes and a comment from user BillySquilly3 who said “Dark matter melo yesssss.” Though Anthony does have a Galaxy Opal card in NBA 2K23 (a 97 OVR Alternate Reality version), he has yet to receive a better card since. And considering his popularity, it’s surprising NBA 2K23 has yet to act on that.
When and if these player items will ever make it to NBA 2K23, remains unclear. And MyTEAM has provided no hints yet regarding them at this time. However, with the new season launching today, and MyTEAM ramping up its Invincible card collection as well, a Rasheed Wallace player item and a Dark Matter Carmelo Anthony could very well be on their way. It’s just a matter of when.

With the release of NBA 2K23 MyTeam’s Season 7 update, fans of this popular basketball game are eagerly anticipating the addition of fan-favorites Rasheed Wallace and Dark Matter Carmelo Anthony to the Team. The dark matter version of Carmelo Anthony uses a unique set of stats and skills that fit perfectly into the MyTeam experience. His defensive abilities, shooting stats, and awards make him a sought after addition for many who seek to etch out even larger margins of victory.
The addition of both players would no doubt be an incredible match for the virtual atmosphere and it wouldn’t be surprising to see many fans flocking to have them added as soon as possible. With their vast experience and skill, this would be an exciting addition to the MyTeam experience and no doubt many are excited to see them make an appearance.
